Yes, I fooled you into looking here. I said I'm going away for some time, which is partially correct. My ass is still here in Hokksund and it will be. But now I will try posting on WordPress.com instead of Blogspot as I am sick of Blogspot's design and limited possibilities.
My new blog can be found at http://dominhate.wordpress.com - Tearing you a new one since 2008.

Attention. Communication wanted.
And by the way, as I am eager to learn about other countries and getting better in speaking English, if you are not from Norway, send me a mail if you're interested in chatting about everything and nothing.
I am aware that I have a few readers from the States as well as the UK and other places in Europe, which I would be more than willing to talk to!
You can reach me at hoestmoerke@hotmail.com
May the wind blow fair at your backs.

The Kilburn High Road - Flogging Molly
Here's my vote for the lyric of the day:
"The Kilburn High Road"
Many's the day I took for granted
Breathing the air that sinlenced some
As the North Wind blew
With its head of thunder
Beating its breast with a war drenched song
Bathe awhile, awash in slumber
Cry what's left to sleep
Where you dream of the love you left forever
But pity no more nor grieve
For we're the kings of it all
For the day we were born
Now we're the kings of the Kilburn High
Sure we'll always take a drop and we'll never leave a sup
Your empty glass is but a tear filled eye
We were the kings of the Kilburn High
Listen to the sound of dead men dying
March as they flee but exiled bound
Their ship once sailed no longer anchors
For gone is the green
And their hallowed gound
Toast to tears of times past glories
This ageless clock chime stalls
Where to kiss the lips of that love forgotten
To fly where no others have soared
For we're the kings of it all
For the day we were born
Now we're the kings of the Kilburn High
Sure we'll always take a drop and we'll never leave a sup
Your empty glass is but a tear filled eye
We were the kings of the Kilburn High
Toast to tears of times past glories
This ageless clock chime stalls
Where to kiss the lips of that love forgotten

I'm hot.
My god, it's too damn hot outside right now. I mean, I'm sitting in the living room right now and still sweating my ass off. And I tell you, I don't like it one teeny weenie bit. My only pleasure at this moment is the glass of ice beside me and the music on the home entertainment system of hours. Right now I'm bugging the loving hell out of my neighbors with Flogging Molly. But hey, it's summer, I entitled to such things.
Also, yesterday I got this year's first sunburn on my back and below my eyes. Martina and I went along with my parents to a little cabin we are borrowing from some random guy and we swam and had fun all day. And got sunburned. Which sucks. Ass. Still a fun day before the sunburn appeared. We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun.
Today's been one of those lazy days summer has to offer anyone who is stupid enough those who prefer to stay inside rather than sweating to death in the midsummer sun. I wonder if I'm going to watch some Veronica Mars later on, as I bought season one of the series on Tuesday. Veronica Mars is a fairly awesome show, contrary to popular beliefs. Hurr, also I may need to freeze some more ice so I don't die.
Also, before I publish this post, I found out that I wanted to share this..quote-ish thing from Boondock Saints, one of the most awesome action movies ever made. I recommend that all of you see it immediately:
And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In nomine Patri.
Et Filii.
Spiritus Sancti.

Obama vs. Bush
I guess it's my turn to be a little more political now and I want to ask you guys a question. How much better of a president do you think Obama will be than Bush? Let me put it this way; of course their way of doing politics are vastly different from each other, but when you say that the world will be a better place with Obama as president, is that because it is popular to hate Bush nowadays? Or is it because you actually don't like the political ways of ol' Georgie? For me it seems like most people hate Bush, and the US in general, purely based on the Iraq war and the war on terrorism. I agree that those are some good points, but are you enlightened enough on this subject to have your own opinion or are you just using everyone else's opinions when saying Bush sucks and fuck America?
And yes, this post is purely based on fuck and win. Perhaps with a hint of politicalness as well, eh?

Oh, my brother, testify!
Well, I just woke up not too long ago and I'm still lying in my bed, waiting for the urge to get out comes over me. My room is so terribly hot and steamy right now, even though no special activities took place during the night. Strange.
Yesterday I was in Flesberg attending the Eventide pre-release event with Magnus, Emil and Emil's cousin Theodor. The tournament went surprisingly well, resulting in a fifth place for me and one booster as a prize. Eventide had some nasty surprises which were both fun and dreadful to play with/against at the same time. Though, Shards of Alara better be much more interesting than this set.
This weekend I bought Guitar Hero as well. Raymond and I got bored, so we decided to fetch the game and play for a whole night. But as we were looking for a store that sold it for the lowest price, the clock quickly turned 8:02 and everything was closed before we got our hands on it. Early Saturday morning we got to Drammen and bought it, though. We played it for a good few hours before Martina arrived. Then we played Guitar Hero the rest of the night. Fucken oresum.
I seriously need to get up now.
